The Beginning/Foundation of Jamia Masjid Mian Muhammad Fazal (RA)
The foundation of this great mosque was laid 12 years ago, on Sunday, 26th January 2013 (14th Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1434 AH). This date marks not only the beginning of a construction but also the start of a spiritual journey.
Since that day, by the grace of Allah, the mosque has been playing a prominent role in the fields of worship, education, and community service.
Wifaq-ul-Madaris Annual Exam
Along with the Jamia’s examination, students are also enrolled in the Wifaq-ul-Madaris examination
Renowned Scholars and Female Teachers
Renowned scholars and teachers from Jamia Ashrafia Lahore are serving in the field of education
Particular Emphasis on Character Building
Along with education, special emphasis is given to training and character building
The Mosque’s Beauty and Architectural Design
The architects have beautifully combined traditional Islamic architecture with modern facilities in the construction of this mosque. Its dome, minarets, grand entrances, and intricate interior designs bring peace and serenity to the heart. Every corner reflects the fragrance of the Qur’an and Sunnah, providing spiritual comfort and tranquility for the worshippers
Activities and Contributions
The mosque regularly hosts Friday and Eid congregations, religious lectures, children’s Islamic classes, and special sessions for women. During the blessed month of Ramadan, Iftar gatherings, Taraweeh prayers, and other spiritual and reformative programs are also organized
In addition, the mosque is actively engaged in helping the needy, welfare projects, and campaigns for religious awareness, making it a true center of both worship and community service
Islamic Educational System
At Jamia Masjid Mian Muhammad Fazil (RA), the mosque is not only a place of prayer but also a center of a well-structured Islamic educational system. Children, youth, and students—both male and female—study the Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah of the Prophet (SAW), and other Islamic sciences
The purpose of this system is not merely to impart religious knowledge, but also to cultivate character, sincerity, and commitment, shaping individuals of the Ummah into exemplary Muslims

The objective of establishing Jamia Masjid Mian Muhammad Fazal (RA) was never confined to the offering of prayers alone. Following in the footsteps of the Ashab al-Suffah, its purpose is to educate and nurture the new generation, to spread Islamic knowledge, and to build a purposeful and morally strong society. Under the patronage of our esteemed elders, Hazrat Hafiz Maulana Fazlur Rahim (Damat Barakatuhum al-Aliyah) and Maulana Yusuf Khan Sahib (Damat Barakatuhum al-Aliyah, Nazim-e-Taleemat), an educational system has been established here that harmonizes Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, contemporary education, and Islamic values in accordance with modern-day needs
